Receives daily assignments from the Ancillary Sleep Service Manager to coordinate patient tests / visits

Processes insurance verifications and prior authorizations for patient test / visits

Processes individual insurance referrals, understanding individual plans and regulations

Makes patient appointments across multiple business lines, adhering to productivity standards

Tracks referrals, assuring accuracy and maintaining timelines

Communicates with Program Director, Practice Manager, and, Lab Director in maintaining productivity goals and objectives

Maintains knowledge of current payer requirements, coding, practice regulations, and ProHealth policies and procedures

Assists in program operations and care delivery

Educates patients on products and services.

Problems customer service issues

Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree or 2+ years of equivalent work experience

Highly successful with insurance management and scheduling patient visits

Experience dealing with complex patient calls, including an understanding of multiple insurance products, strong understanding of prioritizing workflows and unit / team contributions
