Sonia Lukow CPA, LLC is looking for an individual with a great attitude, professionalism, and strong clerical skills. This individual would fill a key role as the first point of contact with our clients as well as provide administrative assistance for each person within the firm.
Responsibilities:
Greeting clients, answering/routing incoming calls, and scheduling appointments;
Assisting clients when picking up or dropping off their documents;
Assembling printed tax returns;
Filing, scanning, and copying;
Contacting clients regarding their documents as well as assisting with collections;
Updating databases and setting up new clients;
Assisting staff with client bookkeeping and various projects;
Preparing outgoing mail and taking certified mail to the post office;
Maintaining office supply inventories and running errands as needed;
Displaying a professional demeanor, dependability, and an organized work area.
Requirements:
Positive attitude and professionalism in speech, behavior, and appearance;
Stress tolerance and composure when faced with demanding or difficult situations;
Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
Strong attention to detail;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Self-motivation and initiative;
Proficiency with Microsoft office including advanced Word and Excel skills;
Experience with QuickBooks would be a plus;
Ability to lift 50 lb boxes of paper;
Good background check and driving record.
