Patient Care Tech (PCT) PRN – Med/Surg Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities. Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Minimum Experience: None required. Certification/Licensure: New Hires: Certified as a nursing assistant; or documented completion of Medical / Surgical semester from an accredited nursing program with a B average or better; or licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); or military medic (91B20). Current CPR certification required. To maintain employment current CPR is required. Patient Care Tech will be required to take and pass Memorial Medical Center’s Patient Care Tech course within 90 days of hire.
