Full Time Assistant Storage Manager Position

Compensation: $12.00 Hr.

Our company is looking for self-motivated Assistant Storage Manager to help manage a storage property.

This is a 35hrs a week position with the potential of extra hours.

This position requires a dependable vehicle with a valid DL.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of our self-storage facilities while remaining in compliance with all state and federal laws. Working closely with the Property Manager and District Manager to achieve business goals and objectives. Position may be stressful from time to time.

Duties include but not limited to showing, renting, and vacating of storage units, greeting customers, answering phones, and making phone calls. All aspects of running an office including but not limited to the use of computer software program, responding to Internet inquiries, making decisions, reconciling cash receipts, following lien procedures, and interpreting reports. In addition to office related work, responsibilities include cleaning units, picking up trash and debris, pulling weeds, sweeping hallways and grounds and minor repairs.

Qualifications:

High School or equivalent

1 year’s storage industry experience

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.

Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite

Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.

Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.

Commitment to excellence and high standards.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Our ideal candidate must be able to pass a complete background check & Drug Screening, have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and a bank account for payroll direct deposit. Starting hourly pay depends on experience and is around $12.00/Hour, plus the opportunity to earn bonuses and commissions paid monthly. There is a 90-day introductory period.
