Business Manager Summary:
Requirements: school business official license and a BA in accounting.
The function of the business manager is to ensure that assets available to the school are properly safeguarded and are expended on activities that support the mission of the school as outlined in the schoolâs charter;
Oversee all aspects of the schoolâs business operations. Ensure compliance with state and federal statutes and regulations governing charter school financial management;
Develop, revise and enforce the schoolâs financial policies and procedures, ensuring proper internal control;
And maintain a general ledger of all financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices. Safeguard the schoolâs financial resources to ensure that resources sufficient to meet the schoolâs objectives are available.
Reports to: Head Learner/Principal
Supervises: Assistant to Business Manager

ï· Cash, Banking and Account Reconciliation
ï· Accounts Receivable
ï· Other Duties as Required
