Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher? Do you want to be part of a team of educators focused on inspiring and enriching young lives? Desert Montessori School is looking for a Preschool Assistant Teacher for the 2019-2020 school year.
Located in beautiful Santa Fe, NM, Desert Montessori is a school any educator would be proud to be a part of. The ideal candidates will be friendly, organized, motivated, flexible individuals dedicated to creating a quality, personalized learning experience for all students.
Candidates should be creative, industrious and dedicated to creating and sustaining the highest-quality educational environment for each and every child. We believe in the power of student- teacher relationships so all of our classrooms have two full-time teachers (a lead and a assistant). Our student to teacher ratios are about 1:7 sometimes even smaller. REQUIREMENTS
Assistant Teachers:
Associates or Bachelors degree in education or relevant field
One year or more relevant teaching experience
Montessori Training or Certification Preferred
Two Professional References
Job Type: Full-time (7:45 to 3:30 Monday through Friday)
