In this role, you will be a member of the Global Sales Enablement Content Team that is tasked with developing and delivering world-class programs that enable PayPal’s Sales organization to sell into the world’s top organizations.

Our team’s primary role is to provide high-impact sales tools to improve and accelerate new merchant and enterprise deals and increase share of checkout through cross-sell and up sell of PayPal solutions.

The challenge of this role is to create and deliver content for salespeople and prospects that effectively demonstrates the value of the PayPal Platform in a fiercely competitive environment.

We like to view ourselves as storytellers tasked with presenting the value of PayPal capabilities in a factual and effective way that resonates with our merchants and can drive successful behaviors in our Sales teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with Sales leadership and subject matter experts (SMEs) to define sales enablement needs, and create content across both the buyer journey and the seller journey.

Content examples include internal-facing materials such as sales playbooks, solution sales materials, and domain education content.

In addition, merchant-facing assets include solution overviews, e-books, and sales pitch decks.

You’ll be responsible for building relationships and conduits to information across Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales teams, and leadership.

You will manage your projects from discovery through execution, approvals, and delivery with a keen eye towards building templates and scaling content across a global enterprise.

The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate the ability to own and lead multiple projects simultaneously.

Key activities include :

Define the content needs across both the buyer and seller journey to improve close rates, reduce sales cycle time, and encourage successful behaviors with salespeople.

Create content starting with discovery of information from SMEs, create story / narrative to match value-selling approach, select the best form factor and drive the project through design, approvals, and publication.

Manage the review process with stakeholders, Legal, and Compliance.

Coordinate with the graphic designers on our team to produce professional-grade assets.

Identify innovative ways to tell the PayPal platform story.

Become an expert in the PayPal solutions for the mid-market with a complete knowledge of company, product, and industry.

Collaborate with SMEs and provide frequent communication to internal stakeholders.

Work with the Sales Enablement Content leader to set deadlines and meet or exceed those deadlines in delivery to the Sales organization.

Bachelor’s degree

Experience in content creation from inception to publication

7+ years’ experience working with sales teams and creating outbound selling materials in roles such as Outbound Product Marketing Manager, Enablement Content Specialist, or Sales Solution Engineer.

Well-organized; ability to multitask and possess excellent time management skills

Able to manage multiple content creation projects at one time

Strong sense of urgency and the ability to work under tight timelines

Ability to take ownership, prioritize, and efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional attention to detail, both in writing and in project completion

Creative writing skills with the ability to craft a story to support a selling strategy
