The Montecito Santa Fe has an immediate opening for a Sous Chef. This is a Full Time Management position (Exempt) responsible for kitchen operations and staff management when the Executive Chef is not on the schedule. Will also work on the line, focus on food quality and plate presentation. Must work weekends plus three weekdays, holidays and cover shifts when needed. Must have current knowledge of NM State sanitations and food regulations. Must speak English (Spanish is a plus but not required), pass a background check and E-Verify.
The Montecito Santa Fe is an upscale resort style retirement community with a private club featuring a restaurant (Garbo's), full service bar (The Starlight Lounge), and Assisted Living dining room. We are open to the public and also do many private parties and large catering events.
