Job Description
Solutions Treatment Center is seeking a full time Admissions and Utilization Review Coordinator to work for our dual diagnosis, behavioral health treatment center. In addition to our own out patient treatment programs, we work with some of the country's best treatment centers to provide remote Admissions services.
Position is available immediately and all candidates must be currently living in NM.
A willingness to work in both our Santa Fe and Albuquerque locations is a plus.
Duties include:
Answering intake inquiries
Performing clinical bio-psycho-social assessments
Corresponding with referral sources, family members and outside treatment providers
Clinical case management services
Performing insurance verifications
Working with insurance companies for authorizations, concurrent reviews and appeals as needed
Completing admissions paperwork
Coordination of admissions with various programs nationwide
Conducting meet and greets with prospective clients and referral agents
Community outreach
Daily supervision of Admissions and Utilization Review Department
Minimum Qualifications
BA in psychology, social work, counseling, substance abuse or a related field, current license is preferred
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Great organizational and time management skills
Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include nights and weekends as needed and willingness to work on call
Must be reliable and trustworthy
A minimum of two years experience in the mental health and or addictions field required
Experience working with commercial insurance companies
