The 10,000 Wags Pet Resort team continues to grow and we're currently looking to fill the following positions:
Guest Services Specialist
Pet Care Specialist
The primary responsibilities of Pet Care Specialist position include (but not limited to) of the following:
Handling dogs and cats
Observing dog body language
Maintaining safe interactions with all animals
Cleaning boarding areas (operating a power washer)
Daily feeding and administering medication
Setup and cleanup of day care yard.
Health Checks
Taking pictures
Multiple walks of up to 1 mile
Position will be part time and seasonal, but has potential to grow into a full-time position under the right situation
Must be a team player, KIND to animals and people, detail-oriented, hardworking, flexible and able to take direction. While the position does entail playing and interacting with animals - there is a lot of cleaning and hard work come with the job.
Additionally, We are looking for an outgoing and team-oriented Guest Service Specialist to join our growing team. Duties of the position include but arent limited to:
Educating new clients on the services we offer and assist in making reservations and appointments
Greeting clients with a smile and checking them in with professionalism
Creating New Client Files
Attention to detail with every transaction to ensure highest level of care and safety of animals
Positively promoting our facility and the care we provide pets
Outbound calls to confirm reservations as well as maintain complete and accurate records
Other administrative duties to assist in day-to-day operations (data entry, printing reports etc.)
Ensure the front end is looking good (i.e. light cleaning tasks).
The ideal candidate for this position will be:

This is a people-oriented position but will include interaction with dogs and cats as well as light cleaning tasks. Pet care experience is not required.
