The New Mexican, THE daily newspaper and resource for Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico, has an opening for a Classified Advertising Sales Consultant.
Qualifications: Sales experience; ability to close and book sales; multi-tasking; accuracy; excellent spelling and grammar; excellent communication skills, both written and oral; cash register experience a plus; excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities: Selling line and display ads in our classified sections to new and existing clients. Calling out to prospective advertisers via phone and email. Entering orders into the computer. Proofreading ads. Administrative tasks and meeting deadlines.
This full-time position (Monday-Friday) offers a commission (based on goals) in addition to an hourly wage. Our compensation and benefit package is competitive.
