BlueLink IT Solutions is a Managed Service Provider specializing in the support of small and medium sized businesses in and around Santa Fe. We currently serve a variety of clients including commercial, non-profit, and government entities as well as residential. We are growing and looking to add a support technician who is organized, self motivated, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys being challenged.
Some of your roles and responsibilities:
Provides support for our managed service customers Example: move, add, change, and preventative maintenance activities.
Virus scan & removal.
Troubleshooting and installing network
LAN user setup, administration and security.
Remote and onsite support for customers (requires local travel)
Back up to answer the phone, monitor management and monitoring systems. Creating tickets in the helpdesk.
This position requires medium work with lifting and moving of up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently.
Other assistance as needed.
Occasional wiring work.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience providing operating system and standard office application support including installation and troubleshooting/resolution of software related errors.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Excellent communication skills: Must be able to communicate with fellow technicians in a technically accurate manner while at the same time be able to take a complex situation and convey that to a customer in a way that is easily understood. This applies to both written and verbal communications.
Able to efficiently multitask and handle multiple customers & projects as they come along.
Natural problem solver: Must be able to look at a situation and break it down into simple components and develop a remediation strategy.
Self-motivated: Must be able to work through assigned task list without a lot of direct supervision. This position requires a lot of self-management. This includes ensuring timely arrival for scheduled appointments, and also prioritization of daily tasks.
Reliable transportation.
Excellent customer relations skills.
