Are you a Tech Junkie or IT Geek? We have a position with our client in Albany, NY that requires an IT Operations Systems Administrator. This is a contract to hire role. Work is onsite in a hybrid schedule for now (probably 1-2 days a week onsite and remainder remote). Details follow:

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:



  • Lead the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of VMware Horizon VDI solutions including Horizon upgrades

  • Coordinate monthly patch management via Microsoft SCCM/MEMCM

  • Coordinate with the Information Security Officer for monitoring and remediation of all server-environment vulnerabilities found

  • Assist with management of the VMware Server Environment cluster

  • Assist with design, implementation, support, and maintenance of Pure and NetApp storage arrays

  • Assist with hardware implementation and support in the datacenter including network and compute equipment and configuration

  • Assist with IdP solution management for SSO and two-factor authentication projects

  • Interact with vendors and suppliers as needed for support or procurement

  • Assist with management of all Certificates used for secure communication


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Candidate will be a self-motivated individual with minimally 5 years of experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting key IT infrastructure such as VMware virtual environments, VMware VDI solutions, Cisco Network environments, PureStorage storage arrays, NetApp storage arrays, HPe Server hardware, Azure Gov Cloud solutions, Microsoft Office 365 environments and Microsoft System Center\Endpoint Configuration Manager.

  • Candidates should have demonstrated expert knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Object management and be comfortable with a variety of monitoring tools for managing alerts within the client computer environment.

Work closely with the litigation team to understand substantive issues of the case so that the most effective tools can be identified and used. Act as discovery manager to understand the volume, format, and content of discovery being received in order to assist the litigation team in selecting the proper tool to host, review, analyze, and use the discovery material. Identify proper tools for working with ESI and paper documents based on the complexity and the volume of data on a case- by-case basis. Apply knowledge of the various aspects of litigation support dealing with paper and e- paper, including but not limited to, scanning, OCRing, logical unitization, objective coding, document review, load files, and production.
