The WCB requires assistance with System Modernization projects that involve the Azure cloud, .NET, and PowerBuilder development and architecture Responsibilities:
Development of detailed unit test and system test plans to make sure that new or re-platformed applications adhere with an analysis and programming of our processes. Extensive analysis of existing processes and documentation of business rules
Creation of functional specifications
System analysis and design
Design of web forms and reusable/shared web components
Creation of business logic components and methods transaction logging
Implementation of function and role-based access level security
Project planning and documentation relative to the business rules
Remediating any bugs or problems found in testing
Creation of a comprehensive help documents for users as a reference and training guide development of post-production support plans
Development of user acceptance process
Required Skills/ Experience/ Education:
24 months experience developing jurisdictional data reporting requirements using the IAIABC EDI Claims Release 3 standard and designing the associated software modules necessary to integrate the IAIABC Claims Release 3 dataset into a Claims management system used by a regulatory agency.
12 months experience working on migration to IAIABC EDI Claims Release 3.1 standard and designing the associated software modules necessary to integrate the IAIABC Claims Release 3.1 dataset into a Claims management system used by a regulatory agency
84 months experience with Sybase databases. This includes designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures and writing SQL
60 months experience as a technical lead supporting Claim Management computer system(s) in a regulatory environment. This includes leading design sessions with users, writing design documents and writing technical specifications.
84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code
60 months experience with government projects that followed a Project Management methodology.
