We are hiring a Neighborhood Marketing Manager to help manage our canvassing team. Canvassers speak to homeowners to educate them about the benefits of our products and set follow up appointments with our sales team through our call center.

The Neighborhood Marketing Manager is expected to knock on doors themselves, leading by example to train and develop canvassers. A successful Neighborhood Marketing Manager will have management/sales experience but canvassing experience not required.

The position requires a passionate, enthusiastic, confident person who conducts themselves with integrity. A positive attitude, willingness to take and give constructive criticism, and strong communication skills are the makings of an ideal manager.

This position can be a pipeline to a further career. We would like to use this position as a feeder into the rest of the company, be it sales, marketing, operations or production!

Responsibilities:

Canvassing: The Neighborhood Marketing Manager will canvass 5 days a week. All members of the team including the manager will be out in the field and knocking. Directly set leads as needed to achieve daily company lead goals.

Managing Canvass Shifts: Including setting up for the day, daily briefings for staff, getting them into the field on time, instructing/observing staff in the field , getting them back on time, debriefing them, and monitoring performance.

Team Management: Creating a motivational environment by using ongoing training programs to continually improve performance. Provide guidance, discipline and consequences to anyone exhibiting poor habits, attitude or unacceptable results.

Administrative Tasks: Paperwork, performance reports, and leader boards.

Recruiting: Maintain staffing levels to meet department goals by responding to web applications, running interviews, hiring, and on-campus tabling and recruiting.

Territory Management: Scouting and selecting suitable areas for canvassing and tracking the results of each territory. Map and assign daily routes.

Compensation is salary with uncapped bonuses. Benefits also available for full time employees.
