Small busy construction business (over 20 years) is looking for a carpenter and a laborer. We are seeking individuals who are self motivated, reliable, a NYS driver's license and their own transportation. We are looking for person(s) with at least some experience, we are willing to work with and train the right person. We do residential and commercial construction. Either must have an OSHA 10 certification or be willing to get one. Many jobs we do require this certification. We do work a 40 hour week, overtime is available for those who will work it. Attention to detail and safety is a must.
Some of our work entails:
Commercial and residential framing
New home construction
Site work
Barns and other out structures.
Siding, windows and doors.
Pay will be based on the experience you have. We do offer retirement (after 1 yr), vacation, holidays, health insurance. We are not looking for subcontractors.
Most work will be in Rensselaer, Albany, Schenectady and Southern Washington counties.
We do not travel more an hour from our area.
