LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN
This position is currently seasonal/hourly, but salaried positions are available to the professionally qualified candidate. The Landscape Construction Foreman is responsible for assuring the proper, efficient, and timely completion of various types of landscape projects.
Essential Functions
• Direct activities on the job site which include but are not limited to: coordinating work flow, hands on work, and operating a variety of machinery
• Communicating production goals (and other items) with crew members, supervisors, and clients
• Coordinate field operations with office personnel and management
• Train and promote the development of crew members in the best practices of installation and company standards
• Monitor all tools, equipment, and machinery for needed maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
• Proficient heavy equipment operating skills including front-end loaders, mini-excavators, skid steer machinery with various attachments, and other construction equipment as needed
• Extensive knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications
• Basic knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees
• Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail orientated
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and backgrounds (e.g. coworkers, clients, subcontractors, vendors)
• Clean and professional appearance, punctual and dependable
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 /hour
