Operate a Heavy Duty Wrecker respond to accidents and roadside calls requested by the customers, Police, and roadside assistance clubs on heavy vehicles.
Duties include but are not limited to:clearing accidents and other roadside emergencies in a safe, effective and efficient manner
Attention to maintenance on Tow Trucks and equipment notifying supervisor to any services or repairs that need to be done or complete the repairs yourself in down time
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
CDL License Tow Endorsement with 1 year previous heavy duty experience
Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record
Must live within close proximity to the garage location in order to respond to calls in timely manner
Scheduled on-call nights and weekends, rotating
Experience as a maintenance technician (mechanic) and/or parts knowledge is a HUGE plus.
Candidates must be self motivated and be willing to work/drive in all weather conditions all hours of the day and night.
