Unity House is seeking qualified contractors to perform remodeling work on apartment units located in Albany and Troy, New York. The work includes general interior renovations with added mechanical and electrical improvements, along with exterior landscaping enhancements, to ensure safety, functionality, and code compliance.
Scope of Work:
The selected contractor or contractors will furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required to complete the following:
Painting:
Prepare, prime, and paint interior walls, ceilings, trim, and doors as specified.
Sheetrock and Drywall:
Repair or replace damaged drywall. Finish and texture to match existing surfaces.
Flooring:
Remove existing flooring and install new materials such as vinyl plank, carpet, or other approved finishes.
Carpentry:
Perform trim work, door replacement, baseboard installation, and minor interior framing as needed.
Plumbing:
Inspect, repair, and replace plumbing lines, fixtures, valves, and fittings as required to ensure proper operation and leak free systems.
HVAC:
Inspect and service heating and cooling systems. Repair or replace vents, ductwork, thermostats, and related components as necessary.
Electrical Wiring:
Repair or replace electrical wiring, outlets, switches, light fixtures, and panels to meet current code requirements.
Landscaping:
Maintain and improve exterior areas including lawn care, trimming, debris removal, minor grading, and enhancement of common outdoor spaces as required.
Cleanup:
Remove debris daily and maintain clean and safe work areas throughout the project.
