If so, lets talk.Service Availability Manager role demonstrates a complete understanding of their client’s availability needs. Optimizes the availability of IT infrastructure, systems, and services to meet the commitments IBM has made to it’s clients in a cost-effective manner. Proactively identifies cost-effective availability improvements within an availability plan. Analyzes availability challenges and eliminate chronic issues.Skills:

Establish proven cadence and interlock with client’s senior management.

Managing resources to deliver services and solutions to support the client organization.

Analyzing metrics for trends, exceptions and driving corrective actions.

Hardware & Software refresh / currency upgrades to ensure that the environment is operating at supported levels.

Reduce the footprint of physical servers by virtualizing them and migrating the workload to the private cloud infrastructure, thereby helping customers move to consumption-based model to drive savings

Exposure to driving divestitures initiatives

Proficient in various IT compliance processes: Identity & Access Management, Security Patch Management, CI Build & Decommissions, Backup & Restore, Security Incident Management, Privilege Monitoring, Business Continuity.

Adept at managing customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing defect prevention initiatives.

Assisting IBM delivery partner executives in cost and recovery management, responding to RFS for new opportunities.

Demonstrated verbal & written communication skills

10+ years of Service Delivery experience managing multi-million contracts in Financial Services & Insurance sector.

Operational delivery experience across complex customer environments comprising of various mainframe technologies (z/OS, z/VM, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ), IBM Private Cloud, zCloud)

Experience in contract management, cost/recovery management, and IT Security.

Extensive experience on steady state support (Incidents, Problem, Change Management), project management, IT Security (including applicable regulatory compliance), meeting stringent contractual SLA's, customer satisfaction.

Ensuring that the environment is compliant to agreed-upon security & regulatory compliance requirements. This includes supporting security audits, PCI & HIPAA compliance, regular environment health checks and addressing audit gaps.
