Software Test Engineer opportunity at their large facility in the southern portion of upstate NY. Working within the dynamic embedded software team will apply their knowledge and experience to product portfolio current and future needs. Will execute all levels of testing (system, integration, unit and regression) to detect and track defects, performance issues and inconsistencies. Will analyze and modify current testing processes and procedures to ensure a streamlined process and to automate processes where possible utilizing automated tools. May conduct software/firmware compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems or network environments. Will ensure that each stage of the test plan is executed. Will develop accurate reports and document test results for various stakeholders. May perform vehicle testing / troubleshooting, bench testing / troubleshooting. May perform defect reproduction, verification of fixed / resolved issues, developer support. May also assist in design and review of requirement specifications.
