The Mission In Motion program, which provides primary care and cancer screening services through two mobile medical vans, makes healthcare accessible to rural populations.What You Will Do As an Associate with Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital - NY, you will be transporting patients and assisting the CT technologists.Responsibilities:Explains procedures to patient to ensure understanding. Provides appropriate educational material.Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures. Assists technologists with preparing patient for radiology exam by positioning the patient for the procedure.Assists technologists with filing, delivering and retrieving patient reports and charts, matching films to folders, and delivery of reports to patient units/physicians.Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.Retrieving patient reports.Printing films and recording CD's.What You Will Need Education & Work Experience:HS or Equivalent Basic computer skills, people skills.BLS if hired, but will receive on the job.
