OVERALL POSITION FUNCTION: Responsible for the successful management, and performance of the Marketing function of a progressive B2B business in the materials processing industry.
PREREQUISITES: College degree or relative level of demonstrated experience, knowledge and capabilities in successfully managing and optimizing all Marketing and Sales efforts in a progressive B to B environment.

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Director of Sales
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the creation, implementation, and successful management of a strategic marketing plan including traditional marketing tools:
o Trade Shows
o Direct Mail Campaign
o Print Media
o Marketing Collateral
o Market Research
o New product launch
o Customer acquisition/retention/re-engagement
o Benchmarking; analysis, interpretation and reporting of sales & market data & competitor analysis.
And Digital Marketing tools:
o Web presence-search engine optimization
o Social Media
o PPC
o Analytics
o On-Line store front
Hiring, Managing and evaluating outside advertising and marketing agencies
Corporate communications, both internal and external, including Corporate image.
Support outside Sales function.
Manage distributed product vendors, inventory levels and SKU’s
Coordinate effectively with other company departments to achieve corporate objectives.
Responsible for continuous improvement of all aspects of Marketing.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION AND METRICS:
Current and effective Marketing and Sales Plans fully implemented and managed. All Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Metrics successfully realized.
Appropriate and effective systems, procedures, processes and controls successfully implemented and maintained throughout the Marketing function.
Continuous Improvement procedures and methodologies in place and effective throughout the Marketing function, as demonstrated by means of consistent and timely reporting in each of the following areas:
o Number of new customers.
o Customer retention.
o Total number of quotes, total number of orders, quote conversion rate.
o Total number of sales per customer
o Total sales amount by customer.
o Average order amount by: customer; product line; order.
o Product line sales and penetration.
o In-house office errors
o Non product related complaints.
o % customer satisfaction

o Search engine optimization
o Website traffic
Marketing Organization clear and effective. Job responsibilities and performance metrics in place throughout Marketing. Successful development, management, performance evaluation, and performance management of assigned departments, groups, teams and personnel.
All Financial objectives and goals fully realized per all directives, plans, budgets and metrics.
