RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a Full Stack JS/RoR Developer in Brooklyn, NY.
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of professional experience with web technologies and applicable RDBMS; Some experience in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/Typescript is required; React experience is desirable
Ability to lead and break down complex problems into bite-sized solutions
Experience reading 3rd party documentation and working with legacy codebases
Comfortable with CI/CD, testing strategies, and agile deployment
Understanding of good coding practices and can follow existing paradigms
Great communication skills and the desire to collaborate across departments and with customers; Able to ask clarifying questions, provide tech context when needed; We have weekly planning meetings and daily standups that we expect engineers to participate in
Working knowledge of your chosen languages and frameworks, but curiosity and ability to ramp up on new technologies quickly when called for
