Our Developer will be a crucial member of the IT team – a self-starter with
excellent verbal and written skills and a desire to code, analyze & learn – playing a vital role in
design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, CIS) or equivalent experience
Experience with Application Development, front and/or back-end, Web and/or Desktop
Experience with Database Design, querying and DB tools
Desired Skills
.Net Web-based Dev experience (ASP.Net, MVC/CORE, JavaScript, jQuery)
.Net XAML-based Desktop/Mobile Apps (WPF, UWP, Xamarin)
Azure App Development (Azure SQL, Dev Ops, Graph API)
Responsibilities:
Participate in operation of Derrick’s data infrastructure and information systems
Work with and deliver solutions using a variety of development tools
Strong desire to train on and understand new technology, tools, and languages
Ability to gather user requirements and write specs
Ability to work in a Global team environment
Ability to multi-task and perform duties proactively
