Experienced Cobol Developer, Need this individual to be able to analyse existing systems & programs to determine how / what changes that need to be made. The person must be able to code & test the changes which includes obtaining, mocking up test data and be capable of using the tools required to test the changes.
Change descriptions & requirements come in the form of BCRs (Business Change Requests) & PCRs (Project Change Requests) which a word based requirement documents, which are currently in the process of being moved t JIRA. As such a basic knowledge of both JIRA and Confluence is a required attribute. The selected individual must also be able to work though these requirement documents and engage the Business when necessary to work through any needed clarifications.
To a lesser extend a working knowledge of Data Stage is desired, the above mentioned processes apply, the only difference being changes will be coded & tested in Data Stage
