We are a local, farm-to-table restaurant seeking an experienced candidate for a server's assistant position. This candidate must be professional, hard-working, an exceptional communicator, possessing an acute sense of urgency in a semi-formal dining environment. The ideal candidate must be sensitive to the etiquette within such an environment and must be committed to learning the ins-and-outs of a dynamic restaurant and bar setting. An interest in food and beverage is always a plus.
Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are definitely not limited to:
-ensuring all guests are properly greeted and given water
-ensuring tables are cleared and cleaned in an efficient manner throughout service and between turns
-ensuring all stations are stocked at all times
-assisting with running food and beverage
-assisting the bar staff when appropriate
-assisting the host when appropriate
