â¢ In support of busy estimating department; keeps track of all bid invitations from general contractors and developers, maintain bid calendar, order project blueprints or use in-house large format printer, ability to navigate bid documents such as material specifications, finish schedules and some knowledge of architectural and sitework blueprints
â¢ Work closely with the estimators and make sure all administrative aspects of bidding are in place. (i.e. bid forms, qualification letters, AIA forms are sometimes necessary)
â¢ Seek new and upcoming projects and follow up leads.
â¢ Process change orders and manage project closeout documentation.
â¢ Proficiency in writing skills, as this position requires drafting letters and emails
â¢ Remain in contact with suppliers regarding lead times for materials
â¢ Maintain files of all bid work
â¢ Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Professional
Friendly and well organized, attire is business casual, must be punctual with customers; service skills, problem solving and procedural mindset. A self-starter.
Education or Experience Requirements:
â¢ Post high school education desired
â¢ Will train qualified candidate
