Well established chain transmission shop is seeking an experience auto technician / mechanic.
We are growing and need a transmission R&R and a general auto tech who can also install transmissions.
We would prefer full time, part time will be considered.
Must have tools.

As a General Automotive / R&R Technician you will service a broad range of vehicle repair issues and asked to quickly identifying the cause of performance problems.
Position Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems.
Assist other technicians when needed
Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians
Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques
Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1 year experience working as a General Automotive Technician
Hold a valid driver's license
Own professional tools
Experience or be able to learn troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing
Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
