Normal day will consist of running service calls and tune ups. Installing furnaces when needed. Typical work week of 40 hours. Technician will have his own van and following his Daily schedule. Job Description:
Service Duties:
Clean furnaces, air conditioners and promote sale of maintenance, repairs, add-ons and new equipment to customers
Diagnose problems with primary residential and light commercial HVAC systems, make recommendations
Ability to install furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, air cleaners, humidifiers, or provide service as needed
Perform heat loss/gain with company software. Size equipment heating/air conditioning correctly
Maintain and improve his/her sales and technical skills, HVAC knowledge through self-study, product seminars, company training and self-improvement courses
Job Requirements:
5- 10 years experience in heating and air conditioning field
Basic electrical knowledge, including wiring and safety precautions
Must be able to use a ruler, calculator, hand tools, various power tools and safety equipment
Ability to read wiring diagrams, volt/amp meters and continuity
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Clean driving record and license
Able to pass drug test
Completed a degree or certificate program in the HVAC field
EPA Certification
Excellent customer service skills
Work well with others
Strong work ethic
Able to climb ladders
Able to lift 50 lbs
