Foxfire Mountain House, located in Mt. Tremper, NY is currently seeking an experienced Prep Cook to join our BOH team for a full-time, year round position. Passionate about food, ambitious, warm and engaging with guests…if that’s you, please get in touch with us! We’d love to hear more.
Responsibilites Include:
- Prep for a la carte dinner service for hotel guests and dining public.
- Prep for weekly catered events for up to 125 guests.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; working in the restaurant as well as special events with numerous, changing, seasonal menus.
- A passion for detail, consistency, and timing.
- The desire to learn, grow and evolve with the team.
- Well-honed culinary skills in a broad section of disciplines.
- Understanding of sanitary kitchen practices and organization.
- You’re a motivated self-starter.
- The ability to work within an existing team.
Schedule:
- Thursday 9a-5p
- Friday 9a-5p
- Saturday 12p-8p
- Sunday 2p-10p
Additional shifts available upon request.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $22/hour starting pay
- Weekly Tips
