Part-time help needed on private wetland/wildlife reserve near Akeley Pa. Preference is given to a candidate with knowledge and a career interest in environmental/biological/wildlife sciences. This would be good experience for your resume.
Wage is competitive and negotiable. Hours are negotiable and flexible. A large part of this job is controlling land and water based invasive weeds that threaten the wildlife habitat. Other duties include mowing, trail maintenance, misc. habitat improvement projects and other duties as assigned. Familiarity with use of kayak, tractor, ATV, hand held power equipment a plus but not required. Must be willing to learn, work independently and safely.
