Our new Nursing Leadership Team is seeking that special RN Supervisor that can deliver, and desires to work where their time makes an enormous difference in the lives of people they serve. Demonstrates enthusiasm and genuine interest in his/her work. Coordinates and oversees nursing care on entire unit. Supervises staff on unit. Evaluates staff and recommends retention, further probation, or termination. Assists all staff to work in according with Cortland Park's standards of care Ensures that there is adequate reporting of all shifts to promote continuity of resident care. Reviews all documentation to ensure optimal reimbursement. Alerts nursing staff to new treatments or instructions regarding resident/patient care. Attends Resident Care Conference and making sure Resident Care Plans are completed in conjunction with other disciplines prior to meetings. Assures residents are taken to activities Performs emergency treatment, ie. CPR, IV's, Blood draws as required. Supervises in the coordination of nursing care with other activities and therapies. Requirements: Must have a current New York State RN Licensure and be in good standing on the Nursing Assistant Registry. Communicate orally in writing with residents, families, co-workers and the public. Must be able to pass physical examination upon offer of employment. Must be approved to work through the Criminal Background Check Program. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to walk around the unit. Must be able to stoop; kneel; crouch; reach; push; pull; climb; lift and carry heavy objects and be able to turn, handle and manipulate minor medical equipment. We will be hiring for the following location: Cortland Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Cortland, NY 13045 US Interview Expectations: Arrive 15 minutes early and complete a paper application at the front desk. Please bring valid Picture ID, Social Security Card, CPR Certification, and Medical Licensure. Interview Attire: Dress code is professional.
