Job DescriptionOur client a multinational project development and constriction company is looking to hire a Human resources Generalist. The ideal candidate will support the employees and managers in the Northeast Region-New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Candidates having experience in Human Resources in AEC Industry would be good candidates.This role reports to the Director of Human Resources/HR Business Partner and supports the Northeast Region - New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.What You'll Do:-Operate with a business-focused mindset and develop an understanding of the business strategy and the needs of the operations to support solutions throughout the business;-Maintain a consistent visible presence on project sites and with departments and be the HR liaison for managers and teams leveraging strategic approaches while providing individualconsulting services;-Partner directly with HR Services team to ensure all requests are communicated clearly and aligned with established workflows ensuring that transactions can be completed in a timelymanner;-Support alignment within and across business units and execute business processes with IT, Communications, Payroll, Benefits Related Subject Matter Experts etc.;-Support the HR Business Partner to develop key mitigation plans on specific employment-related matters or for state/federal/municipality legislative changes;-Conduct initial investigations on employment, workplace-harassment or code-of-conduct matters with oversight from local Business Partner;-Deliver a recruitment experience in concert with Talent Acquisition Team that engages candidates including screening applications, scheduling and participating in candidate interviews withlocal management teams, executing work practices that specifically improve the candidate and new employee experience and championing hiring through campus recruitment efforts;-Provide local support, aligned with our corporate Mobility Policies and developing our workforce to ensure in bound and out bound Mobility program assignees and their families have aseamless transition between assignments;-Support strategic talent priorities, employee engagement and team effectiveness;-Support the team to proactively develop and use collaborative and cooperative relationships to deliver our Great People strategy promoting the employer brand within and outside of thecompany.Requirements-BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience required; degree in human resources management, labor relations, or a related field of study or Master-s degree is highly desirable;-3+ years of experience as a human resources generalist or coordinator required; experience in large regional, national or global company highly desirable;-Expertise in HR policies and procedures with understanding of HR best practices and current regulations required;-Knowledge in related HR topics including employee relations, recruiting, performance management, development programs, compensation & rewards, immigration, mobility;-Familiarity with MS Office Suite, social media platforms and HR Systems;-Sound judgement and problem solving skills with ability to manage ambiguity and interpret, connect complex data;-Foster a customer-focused attitude, building strong trusting relationships with a high level of professionalism and discretion;-Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail, deadlines and confidentiality;-Act ethically and transparently in order to promote the greater good and be a strong voice in your team, organization and communities.Why Kelly ® ?As a worker today, it’s up to you to take charge of your career and look for opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve your potential.
