ICM, International Climbing Machines, seeks a well-rounded, versatile Production Manager and Technical Go-To Person with mechanical and electrical skills and experience to assist us with ICM's revolutionary climbing machine technology. Responsibilities include production management, hands-on production work, design and process input, and on-site field trouble shooting. Possessing a real aptitude for efficiency, execution, and delivering results by deadlines are all key position requirements.
Practical Engineering Skills. This is a Hands-On position & successful candidate MUST be prepared to dig in to solve a problem while working to increase efficiency and meet deadlines.
Production Knowledge & Experience. We make high value robots. We do not make high quantities of them but we must dramatically enhance our ability to deliver systems more efficiency along with outstanding quality control. Strong production management and applied electro-mechanical aptitude are essential. with remote-controlled or field-deployed apparatus a major plus.
Team Player. Willingness to help ICM succeed. Excellent overall communication skills a big plus. Knowledge and appreciation of sound industrial safety and housekeeping practices necessary. Life long commitment to learning is essential.
Other valuable qualifications include a familiarity with composites or advanced carbon-fiber construction, robotics, remote controlled vehicles, low quantity / high quality production and quality control are all useful.
