We are looking for someone to help around the house and care for our 8-year-old daughter. Our current nanny is leaving after 7 years to have a child of her own and we are searching for someone new to help us.
Big Flats, NY. 30+ hours per week with nights, weekends and holidays off. A regular schedule with two weeks paid vacation each year (after youre with us at least 6 months).
Generally, Noon to 6, Monday thru Friday.
Requirements:
Childcare experience
References
Valid Driver License
Own transportation (all-wheel drive would be nice)
Not allergic to dogs or cats (we have one of each)
Responsibilities:
1. Care and entertainment of our daughter when not in school
2. Transporting our daughter from school including after school programs (Holy Family School)
3. Supervising homework
4. Preparing family meals
5. Family laundry and some light cleaning
6. General help with running things around the house
You must be responsible, honest and reliable. You should have a clean legal background (a check will be conducted). You will be an important part of our lives, spending a lot of time with our daughter. We are looking for a warm, loving, good person who will mesh well with our family and help create a comfortable, loving home for our daughter.
Pay: $12 to $15 per hour, mileage, paid vacation.
Bottom line: we are busy and need help around the house.
