Up to 8 hours per day, 7 days a week available. You tell us what your availability is and we'll try to make it work! Experience and/or education in the medical or personal care field preferred. Searching for someone to provide and assist with in-home care for elderly gentleman who suffers from mild dementia and is not mobile due to neurological decline and a recent broken hip. Care to include repositioning to avoid bedsores and blood clots, feeding, bedding and clothing changes as well as occasionally assisting with change of soiled undergarments. He also needs someone to help coach and assist with muscular flexibility exercises and breathing exercises which we will show youvery simple stuff, nothing complicated. He is a smallish man these days so is not too heavy or difficult to handle. He has a cooperative and pleasant personalityall his hospital nurses and caregivers love him! Candidate must register with AIM Independent Living Center as they will manage and provide your paycheck and insure you against liability as the caregiver.
