As a member of the North American Access Control and Intrusion business unit marketing team, you will drive and implement the marketing communications strategy in support of the business unit objectives. This role is part of a team including the Marketing Director, Regional Marketing Managers, an Integration Partnership Manager, Application and Design support, and Installer Services, to craft and communicate the Bosch Access/Intrusion strategy, story and product positioning. The position leads the development of the Marketing Communication Plan for the product area, and implements the marketing communication strategy laid out in that plan by providing the necessary guidance, subject matter expertise and tools to effectively position, communicate and sell our products and solutions.
Principal Responsibilities:
Define, plan and implement the regional Access-Intrusion Business Unit marketing communications strategy for targeted product categories and/or customer groups to ensure that products are successfully introduced and marketed throughout their life cycle
Develop a marketing communication plan and execute it with the most effective print and digital marketing channels (web, social media, email, video, mobile, webinars, signage, print media, direct communication, etc.)
Lead copywriting and creative direction on all communication materials for product marketing initiatives, sales tools, and channel promotions. Coordinate project details with sales, marketing, and support teams as required. Drive execution with internal and external service providers
Creatively differentiate messaging targeted at a variety of customers and end users
Amplify and align PR activities with other marketing initiatives, including creation of press releases, news articles, white papers, and case studies
Develop creative state of the art themes and concepts for product marketing initiatives and sales promotions, and drive execution with internal and external service providers including media buying and analytics tracking
Plan, develop and execute marketing programs designed to drive value to the business as the lead coordinator for a newly formed Dealer Advisory Board
Support the Product Introduction Process (PIP) on all defined marketing material process steps, and the introduction plan to the North American sales organization
Support Bosch brand initiatives and ensure its corporate design and brand communication guidelines are met
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or Communications
5+ years’ experience in a B2B creative marketing communication role
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and creatively, preferably in a global business setting
Strong verbal, written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience marketing security or other complex commercial electronic products
An entrepreneurial mindset and results orientation is a must.
Ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working in a matrixed organization requiring a high level of independence and informal leadership skills
