Duties:
- Create bid proposals using quantity takeoffs for rough grading & utilities
- Control and approve change orders & submittals
- Attend pre-bid meetings
- Solicit subcontractor & material quotes
- Monitor project schedule & job costs
- Prepare job billings and pay applications
- Represent company in project meetings
- Manage all subcontractors and vendors
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills including takeoff software
- Previous estimating experience
- Self-motivated
- Bachelor's degree related to construction industry or civil engineering preferred or background in commercial excavating
- Communication & interpersonal skills
