We're adding a wonderful bistro space thatll eventually include an enormous wood-fired pizza oven. Having an energetic, smart and hard-working team leader to get "The Galley" up and running smoothly is essential to its success.
This position will be an extended seasonal-position from mid-April to mid/late November. Pay will be commensurate with experience and highly competitive. While varying, the role will require an approximately 30 hour/week commitment (potentially 40+ during the peak Summer period). Job responsibilities will typically include:
- Sourcing, ordering, prepping and cooking of menu items
- Assisting in the hiring and oversight of scheduling of team members
- Continual cleaning and maintenance of the work space and associated equipment
- Ability to be adaptable and able to work with many in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking individuals who have previous experience in this sort of managerial role and knowledgeable of pizza-making; ideally wood-fired pizza.
We're building a wonderful addition to the already beloved Boathouse Beer Garden experience. The role we seek to fill will be helping to create a great new space with high quality food, served in a timely fashion by friendly, professional folks!
