A catalyst position performing tasks related to administration, correspondence, and technology for the Schuyler County Partnership, a public private economic development firm. Additionally, works closely with the office manager to create engaging written, visual, and auditory content for the Schuyler County Partnership, and its various related organizations, including the Schuyler County Industrial Development Agency, FLX Community Development Corporation, and Project Seneca on multiple social media channels.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have experience in creating website content, marketing knowledge, documentation, basic accounting, listening, and phone skills. High-level ability to manage website structure and content (WORDPRESS), multi-task, problem solve, and analyze information. Professional and adept at interacting with the general public, elected officials, community leaders, and business representatives in a positive manner. Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience in IT, marketing, communications, or related field required. Documented experience with ADOBE suite including InDesign a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage organization-owned website and social media channels, including Facebook, You-Tube, Instagram, Twitter, Linked-In, Blogging and other relevant platforms.

2. Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering publishing schedules where necessary to optimize visits. Ensures on-line calendar is current.

3. Creates dynamic written, graphic, and when appropriate - video and auditory content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on organization website, and encourages audience participation.

4. Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.

5. Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns that encourages positive interaction with the community and reduces misinformation in the media outlets.

6. Analyze and report audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects.

7. Drafts marketing materials to promote the efforts of the various organizations (e.g. news release, e-newsletter, online or print advertisements, posters, brochures, etc.) for approval by Executive Director.

8. Creates a new record-keeping structure for cloud-based project files for each organization. Organizes and digitizes project files.

9. Other duties as assigned
