The Project Manager is responsible for the management, scheduling, and completion of all project related work. The Project Manager must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. The Project Manager works with the Project Superintendents as well as the Permitting and Site Auditing.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Position requires previous Solar Experience.
Assist with and manage flow of construction through pre-planning phase to final punch list items
Follow up to ensure tasks and requests are completed
Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information
Ensure that the project moves forward in a timely, cost-effective manner, making changes and adjustments as necessary
Set expectations and timelines for project team to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner.
Liaise with subcontractors to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
Oversee and manage the permitting and site audit within the respective location. Site Quality Control.
Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
Make sure that clientsâ needs are met as projects evolve
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to the appropriate personnel & departments
Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
Effective organizational, time management skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently or as a team member
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
Experience in project management
An ability to prepare and interpret flow charts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance & control
Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular) Familiarity with Adobe PDFâs to read and manipulate.
Familiarity and experience reading blue prints
Physical demands and abilities
Regularly spend normal hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
Frequently work in on projects that require deadlines
Frequent travel to the project locations
