The West Taghkanic Diner is looking for talented chefs, cooks, & prep cooks to join our opening team! If youre as passionate about sourcing food as you are cooking it, can't seem to get enough of natural wines & craft beer, and are excited to use a 7ft hot smoker as your oven, this is the kitchen for you.
Owner/chef Kris Schram has spent over 15 years working in kitchens, seven of them in Copenhagen, Denmark, alongside Christian Puglisi of restaurant group Relæ. Together they opened Bæst, an internationally awarded restaurant known for its house made mozzerella, charcuterie and wood fired sourdough pizzas. Prior to that Kris was in Californias Napa Valley working as chef de cuisine of the James Beard Award winning Terra Restaurant.
With Kris at the helm and an incredibly talented crew right in stride, we'll be using inspired techniques and elevated ingredients to spotlight the classic dishes that created America's diner culture.
