HIRING PASTRY ASSISTANT/ MORNING BAKER
Cold Spring Coffeehouse is hiring a pastry assistant to bake morning croissants and pastries, as well as assist in production work and taking orders. This position is for someone comfortable wearing multiple hats, and jumping in where needed. Applicants must be able to self-manage and hustle, as well as work confidently as an independent baker and team member.
Responsibilities include:
-putting croissants out to proof and baking morning pastries.
-setting up display case thoughtfully.
-accurately scaling/ mixing dough and ingredients.
-following recipes and the production list to the T- consistently and in a timely manner.
-assist AM baristas during rushes, whether that's ringing up orders, bagging pastries, or preparing coffee.
-assembling the day's sandwiches.
-thoroughly cleaning the work station throughout the shift, and washing all pans, dishes, and utensils used during the shift.
This is a part-time position, 30 hours/ week.
This is an Early Morning Schedule: Monday- Friday, 5am-11am.
Our ideal candidate will have kitchen/ bakery experience. Applicants with coffee experience will be given priority, however we are happy to train the right person.
Pay is competitive.
