Well established restaurant group seeks WELL EXPERIENCED STAFF(only)
for our French restaurant located in the Poughkeepsie Downtown Historic District.
(we need to start training for the upcoming busy season)
SERVERS (full time)
BARTENDER (part-time, may combine with server shifts to be full time)
RUNNER (part-time)
BANQUET SERVERS & BARTENDERS (for our Event Branch)
General requirements:
- At least 2 years of hospitality experience
- Consistency. We don't like to see resumes where people constantly move from job to job
- PASSION. We want people that have drive
- Curiosity to LEARN
- Team player that works well with others in a non toxic environment.
- A strong understanding of food, flavor profiles, local farming, etc
- A detailed understanding of wine, spirits, cocktails, craft beer
- A strong understanding of general service steps & amp; hospitality
- Be clean and keep the work stations clean as it is expected and following The City Health Department guidelines.
- Punctuality and reliability a must!
- Be ready, A written test is given upon interview
For bartender: personable and creative individuals to maintain and elevate an existing cocktail program, Interested individuals should possess two years minimum creating high-end cocktails. Must have an understanding of the intricacies of mixology. and a knowledge of wines, spirits and craft beers. The knowledge of classic cocktails is a must, as well as food (from cooking processes and so on). Able to multitask as carrying a conversation and execute orders.
