Overview
Irving Farm Coffee Roasters is hiring a full-time Kitchen Lead to work with our culinary team by driving our retail food program. This is an hourly position based out of Irving Farm in Millerton, NY.

The Kitchen Lead is responsible for the kitchen and its operations, including quality control of all cooking and prep, ordering, inventory, cleanliness, training and coaching, efficient work flow, scheduling and maintaining a professional working atmosphere
This position oversees the kitchen team members, and works with them to make sure that all standards are met for quality, speed of service and DOH protocols
The Kitchen Lead is responsible for working five scheduled shifts a week at the Millerton store, as needed and scheduled by the store Manager
The Kitchen Lead works with the store manager and culinary program manager on developing and implementing specials and new menu items
Desired Skills and Experience
Certified with New York State Department of Health (Food Handler’s License or ServSafe Certification), or obtaining certification within the first 90 days of employment
At least 2 years of professional Kitchen Experience
Ability to support the and drive the kitchen team’s success
Basic kitchen Spanish preferred, though not required
