This is a working manager position; you will be expected to manage the following responsibilities plus fill in on the line enough to maintain a realistic budget and understand the needs of the restaurant.
· Order all food and keep managers informed about food sourcing, pricing, and availability.
· Train and evaluate kitchen and Dishwasher staff to be empowered to succeed to the best of their ability.
· Create a kitchen staff schedule that gives us the best chance to succeed.
· Work with lead cook to maintain an efficient menu with the best quality and ticket times possible for our business. Work with managers to streamline menu to be as efficient as possible on cost, while maintaining the level of quality we expect for our brand.
· Maintain prep and cleaning lists and procedures to keep our menu stocked and our kitchen clean.
· Strive to maintain 30% or less food and labor cost based on income and/or keep managers informed on decisions to go over budget for quality.
