Dental Hygienist Position:
Warwick Valley Dental, Warwick NY and Church Street Dental Arts, Goshen NY
Part Time Position (two days weekly-Mondays and Fridays)-One evening per week
Approx 16-18 hours weekly, must be able to work in both locations.
If you are an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist with at least two years experience in a general dental practice, nitrous and anesthesia certified, Dentrix software proficiency and enjoy new challenges, this position may be for you.
Our practice is fast-paced, different every day, and, deals with between 8-10 hygiene patients every day; adults and children of all ages, so we seeking someone with a warm inviting personality.
We do ask a lot from our employees and we are strictly a no drama office, offering a state of the art, fun, professional, fast- paced working environment with an emphasis on high technology procedures, education, and offering the best care for our patients as the first priority.
You must have the ability to discuss all facets of dentistry as it pertains to this position, with confidence. Inputting data into the computer, printing and reviewing treatment plans independently, strong soft tissue management experience, preventative and adjunctive services skills are necessary. Periodontal therapy experience necessary. Taking impressions and whitening application is required. Experience with presenting and performing same day unplanned hygiene services at hygiene visits such as fluoride application, sealants, whitening impressions is expected whenever the opportunity arises. Hygienists are expected to assist with lab and sterilization duties as needed to ensure the smooth clinical flow.
You are the liaison between the patient and the doctor, so confidence in recognizing and identifying dental concerns and recommendations to hand off to the doctor is a vital skill in our team approach.
