What We Are Looking For: We are in search for a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician or Technologist to work in our Beacon, NY location. We are looking for a motivated individual who is looking to grow with-in their position to become the best tech they can be! We need an outgoing, bubbly personality, who is going to be dedicated to the compassionate care of the animals we treat. As an LVT at our practice you will be responsible for assisting veterinarians in exams, client education, venipuncture, radiology positioning and shooting, performing EKGs, surgical assisting and anesthesia administering / monitoring, dental scale and polishing, inventory, scheduling appointments, client services, medication administration and distribution, drug calculations, in-house laboratory tests, and many other duties under the supervision of veterinarians and management team.
NYS licensing REQUIRED. Experience preferred, but not required as we are willing to train the right entry level candidate - as long as the individual is licensed. Emergency experience a plus
Who We Are: We are a small animal veterinary office located in the heart of Beacon, NY. Conveniently located within 5 minutes of the Newburgh-Beacon bridge, walking distance of the the MTA Beacon train station, and nestled right in the middle of the attractive Main Street - this opening is great for residents from multiple locations. We have 2.5 veterinarians here who function mainly as general practitioners. Our focus is on wellness care, preventative care, and general sick visits for dogs and cats. We also are happy to offer urgent care / same day appointments for emergency situations, advanced diagnostics, and specialty consults with board certified veterinarians. Servicing both the pets of Beacon, as well as their people, we have worked hard to foster a warm, welcoming environment!
