Job Description:
The Construction Laborer role includes, but is not limited to, the following primary responsibilities: (1) Loading and off-loading company vehicles and job sites. (2) Cleaning work area, shop, and equipment. (3) Using, supplying, or holding materials and tools. (4) Assisting the Construction Foreman and Director of Operations as needed. (5) Providing excellent customer service at all times.
Additionally, secondary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) Participating in routine performance reviews and company meetings. (2) Regular and prompt use of company email. (3) Assisting the Financial Controller as needed.
Work Schedule:
8:00a-6:00p (may vary)
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
The qualified candidate has a positive attitude, is teachable, eager to learn, absolutely committed to excellent customer service, and intends to pursue a construction career with the company. PROFESSIONALISM. Strong knowledge of arithmetic, great organization skills, responsibility, punctuality, integrity, and team work also essential. High School or General Equivalency Diploma required (Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred).
Preferred Skills:
Basic carpentry, drywall, and masonry skills. Excellent communication skills. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Interest in integrating technology with work.
Additional Notes:
The Construction Laborer reports to the Director of Operations and Financial Controller. All applicants are requested to provide employment authorization, and consent to background and credit checks, and drug screening. Education, experience, and license verification also performed.
